In recent years, the number of IOM cases has grown exponentially as a result of advances in IOM systems, improved monitoring procedures, and the surgeons’ increased awareness of the benefits of IOM. However, a vital missing link with many of these cases is the real-time monitoring by a Clinical Neurophysiologist. Quite simply, this is due to the small number of Neurophysiologists who are dedicated to being full-time IOM readers.

At PRN Read, we specialize in filling this gap with a team of highly trained and licensed Surgical Neurophysiologists who can provide ongoing interpretations, reporting, professional fee billing, real-time data archival, and expert technical support for the monitoring technologist.

Due to advancements in telemedicine, we are able to monitor cases anywhere within the United States while maintaining full-time communication with the monitoring technologist and surgeon.
